About Us

| Our journey started more than 30 years ago, UTOC Corporation of Japan set up its wholly owned subsidiary, UTOKU Engineering Pte Ltd in 1989. We had 12 staff in a rental office along Gul Road. Our name was officially changed in 1995 to UTOC Engineering Pte Ltd (UTOC). UTOC is under the arm of Plant Business Division, UTOC Corporation. The ultimate holding company is Mitsui O.S.K Lines Ltd, Japan |

UTOC Plant Construction Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of UTOC Engineering Pvt. Ltd. was established at Malaysia in 2015. Since then, we are one of the leading mechanical contractors, specialize in the fabrication and installation of process piping; installation of equipment; heavy lifting works; fabrication and installation of structural steel; miscellaneous plant maintenance. |

| Over the decades, UTOC has actively participated in projects with a contract value of over millions in the petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries in Singapore, Malaysia, and Southeast Asia Region. In recent years, UTOC has actively integrated its professional and engineering capability, expanded its strategic alliance looking for technical collaboration with domestic and overseas major firms, and in combination, tried setting business foothold with diversified operating strategy in both domestic and overseas markets. |

Members of its management team are all professional engineers with many years of experience in fabrication and erection field, and they form a project execution team that is capable of providing the complete services from plant planning, design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, site construction, to commissioning, startup and maintenance.

|
Safety has always been and will continually be a prerequisite in all our endeavors. Our unwavering commitment in raising the bar in safety is well known to our employees and clients. We have been constantly recognized in our outstanding safety performance. UTOC has celebrated numerous safety awards thru the years while earning trust and recognition in the industry.
The majority of UTOC's work is performed in hazardous environments such as Furnaces and petrochemical plants. The hazardous environments necessitate the development of an extensive Workplace Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System to ensure the safety of personnel, equipment, client assets, and the environment. This Safety Management System is constantly monitored through liaison with UTOC personnel and client representatives to ensure the most effective Hazard and Risk Identification and Mitigation Strategies and Plans. |
